About the Journal
Jurnal Abdimas Akademika is a peer-reviewed and open-access scientific journal with ISSN 2747-1268 (Print) and ISSN 2747-1373 (Online). The journal is published twice a year, in June and December, by Akademi Kesejahteraan Sosial (AKK) Yogyakarta. Jurnal Abdimas Akademika serves as a national scientific forum for academics, researchers, practitioners, and professionals to disseminate community service results, applied research outcomes, and community empowerment innovations.
The journal focuses on community service activities within the field of Social Sciences, including community training programs, capacity building, social empowerment, and initiatives aimed at improving community welfare and economic development. The journal accommodates various models of community engagement, including participatory approaches, technology transfer, social innovation, and sustainable community development programs.
Each submitted manuscript undergoes a peer-review process to ensure academic quality, originality, methodological rigor, and relevance to community needs. As an open-access journal, Jurnal Abdimas Akademika is committed to supporting knowledge dissemination, strengthening collaboration between academics and communities, and promoting evidence-based community service practices.
Jurnal Abdimas Akademika has been accredited SINTA 5 by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemendikbudristek)
