Author Guidelines

The guidelines for writing articles in Jurnal Abdimas Akademika are as follows:

General Provisions
Articles must be original scientific works based on community service (Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat/PkM) activities and must not have been published or be under consideration for publication in other media. Articles must emphasize community service studies related to Culinary Arts, Fashion Design, Makeup Artistry and Beauty Science, Vocational Education, Special Vocational-Based Education, and Community Creative Economy Development.

Authors must present current community service themes supported by clear implementation methods, measurable impact, updated references, and free from plagiarism. Authors are required to complete the article originality statement form.

Article Structure
The manuscript writing system must consist of:

  • Title

  • Author(s) Name (without academic titles), Affiliation, and E-mail Address

  • Abstract (maximum 250 words)

  • Keywords (3–5 words)

  • Introduction

  • Method of Community Service Implementation

  • Results and Discussion

  • Conclusion

  • Acknowledgment (optional)

  • References

Articles must be written in English.

Manuscript Format
Articles must be prepared using A4 paper size (21 cm × 29.7 cm), Times New Roman font size 12 pt, single spacing, with a length of 15–20 pages.

References and Citation
Manuscripts must use reference management tools such as Mendeley or Zotero and follow APA 7th edition citation format.

Submission Requirements
Articles must be submitted through the online journal system and must include:

  • Article manuscript file

  • Academic biography of the author (maximum 100 words)

Authors must ensure that the manuscript follows the official article template provided by Jurnal Abdimas Akademika.
