Abstract

Augmented Reality is a digital instructional medium supported by the Assemblr EDU application that provides structured work instructions and informative learning materials for practical activities in blouse pattern making. This study aims to: (1) determine the validity of Augmented Reality learning media for blouse pattern making in Class X Fashion 2 at SMKN 2 Jombang, and (2) examine students’ learning outcomes in blouse pattern making using Augmented Reality media. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model. A one-shot case study design was applied. The research was conducted during the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year, involving 33 students of Class X Fashion 2 at SMKN 2 Jombang. The research instruments consisted of Augmented Reality media validation sheets assessed by two expert validators (a media expert and a subject-matter expert), a student response questionnaire, and a performance assessment rubric for blouse pattern-making practice. Data were collected through media validity assessment and evaluation of students’ practical learning outcomes and analyzed using descriptive quantitative techniques. The results indicate that: (1) the Augmented Reality learning media achieved a mean validity score of 3.35, categorized as very valid; and (2) students’ learning outcomes in blouse pattern making supported by Augmented Reality media reached 93,9%classical learning mastery. These findings suggest that the developed Augmented Reality learning media is valid and effective in supporting students’ learning outcomes in blouse pattern making.
