INOVASI OLAHAN KEKINIAN DARI ROSELLA: PELATIHAN PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT DUSUN TERBAH

Potensi pertanian rosella (Hibiscus sabdariffa L.) di Dusun Terbah, Kalurahan Pengasih, Kabupaten Kulon Progo belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal, dimana petani hanya menjual hasil panen dalam bentuk kering dengan nilai ekonomi rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam pengolahan rosella, (2) Mengembangkan produk inovatif berbasis rosella, (3) Meningkatkan nilai ekonomi rosella, dan (4) Menciptakan peluang usaha berkelanjutan. Metode partisipatif melalui pelatihan intensif diterapkan kepada 20 peserta. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pengetahuan peserta (nilai pretest 42,3 menjadi posttest 84,7), terciptanya 3 produk inovasi, peningkatan nilai ekonomi rosella dan terbentuknya kelompok usaha "Rosella Mandiri". Program ini berhasil memberdayakan masyarakat melalui pendekatan terintegrasi dari hulu ke hilir.
